Being a Board Director

The Rottnest Channel Swim Association (RCSA) Board consists of volunteer Directors who dedicate their time to working towards the RCSA’s objectives and upholding the RCSA’s constitution.

The RCSA Board currently meets 6 times per year to address relevant business, discuss the Association and approve decisions surrounding Out of Event Crossings and the annual South32 Rottnest Channel Swim.

Board members are appointed annually at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in July.

How to Become a Board Director

Become an Elected Board Director:

You must complete the Board Nomination Form below and submit it at least seven (7) days before the RCSA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which occurs annually in July. At the AGM, Board positions will be allocated based on member voting.

Become an Appointed Board Director:

The RCSA has the ability to have up to four appointed Board Directors. These positions are appointed based on any skill/expertise gaps on the Board.
